General information:

The approval of dissertation and cathedral works is carried out at the scientific coordinating council, after passing an ethical examination in the local ethics committee of the StSMU

The presentation of the topic of the doctoral dissertation research is carried out by the applicant, the topic of the candidate's dissertation research is carried out by the supervisor.

The package of required documents is provided to the scientific and analytical department no later than 5 days before the NCC. (library building, 3rd floor, office 311b). The contact phone number is 35-25-14.

The list of documents required for the approval of dissertation research topics:

1. Application for approval of the thesis topic. On the application, the supervisor of the topic should indicate whether this topic is an independent study or a fragment of a cathedral work.
2. Application for approval of the theme of the Departmental research 
3. Extended annotation with title page 
4. Calculation of the estimated cost.
5. Extract from the minutes of the meeting of the local ethics committee. Information about the documents required for conducting an ethical examination is available on the university's website in the "Science" section, subsection "Local Ethics Committee".
