The Center for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment (CCU) was created to improve the efficiency of research work at Stavropol State Medical University, provide world-class research, experimental developments to provide services to researchers and research teams, both the university and other interested users, facilitate the implementation of grants, create conditions for the scientific activities of young scientists.
The CCU functions in close cooperation with the structural divisions of the university, conducting research, scientific, educational and diagnostic activities, equipped with modern and scientific equipment and software.
The staff of the CCU is formed from the number of researchers and employees of departments involved in the activities of the CCU to solve specific research projects (scientific research on government assignments, grants from the Russian Scientific Foundation for Intra-university grants, research under the UMNIK program, etc.).
providing access and the opportunity to use expensive CCU equipment and devices located in scientific laboratories, departments and clinics of the university, providing assistance in conducting research and testing;
increasing the level of loading of scientific equipment and software in the CCU;
provision of training of highly qualified specialists and personnel (students, residents, postgraduates, doctoral students, applicants) using modern high-tech scientific equipment of the CCU
organization of training, internships, practicums, seminars, master classes on the basis of the CCU;
ensuring the development of the base of equipment, software of the CCU;
ensuring the uniformity and reliability of measurements during scientific research on the equipment of laboratories, departments and clinics of the university;
studying and forecasting the demand for scientific and technical developments and services of the CCU;
providing information about the capabilities of the CCU hardware and software to interested users;.
development of relations between the CCU and other higher educational institutions, research institutes and research and production enterprises for joint research;
stimulating the process of intersectoral scientific integration and ensuring an interdisciplinary approach in conducting scientific research on the basis of the CCU;
development of the material and technical base of the CCU.
