Functions:

• Assistance in the creation of a student government structure.
• Conducting activities aimed at fostering interethnic, interfaith and political tolerance among students.
• Improving and expanding the practice of holding traditional student events, combining them with the search for new forms and directions.
• Organization of meetings of university students with heads of scientific schools, scientists, representatives of executive and legislative authorities, cultural figures.
• Coordination of the work of specialists responsible for the educational work of deans and curators of academic groups.
• Publication of methodological manuals for curators of academic groups and university students.
• Development of targeted educational programs.
• Operational analysis of current problems in the university environment by conducting sociological and psychological research.
• Assistance in solving the identified problems through the development and implementation of various socio-psychological programs using methods of group and individual psycho-correctional work, advisory activities.
• Analytical and advisory work with students from socially vulnerable families, orphans, the disabled, and student families.
• Educational activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, holding sports festivals, sports contests, and competitions together with the Department of Physical Education and Adaptive Physical Education.
• Organization of students' participation in university, city, regional, federal events, actions, movements with a humanistic, social, moral and psychological orientation.
