The wellness and preventive complex (hereinafter referred to as the WPC) is a multidisciplinary therapeutic and preventive, educational and motivational structural unit of StSMU, designed to conduct therapeutic and wellness activities, form a healthy lifestyle with students and staff, taking into account the conditions of their studies, work and everyday life and the specifics of the educational institution.

Main tasks:

The WPC carries out planning, organization and implementation of measures to prevent and promote the health of students and staff of StSMU.

Provides qualified medical and preventive care to students and staff in accordance with the license for medical activities and in accordance with modern medical achievements.

Ensures the interaction of the University with regional and municipal authorities, healthcare institutions in order to form a phased system of preventive, therapeutic, diagnostic and rehabilitation measures aimed at preserving and strengthening the health of students.

Organizes monitoring of students' health indicators during their studies.

Develops and implements a scientifically based comprehensive health care system at StSMU.

The organizational structure of the WPC includes divisions:

1. The Iskra dispensary with outpatient admission for the rehabilitation of students and staff - 6a Morozova str.
2. Medical center for emergency care - 310 Mira Street.
