About the creation of the public organization "Association of graduates of Stavropol State Medical Institute – Stavropol State Medical Academy "Alma Mater".

On May 20, 2010, at a meeting of graduates of the SSMI - StSMA, it was decided to create a public organization "Association of Graduates of the Stavropol State Medical Institute - Stavropol State Medical Academy "Alma Mater".

The initiative to create the Association belonged to Rector Valentina Nikolaevna Muravyeva.

The purpose of the Association is to unite graduates of our university on a voluntary basis to develop and expand mutual contacts between them, mutual support and social protection of their members in modern conditions.

The Board of the Alumni Association was elected (Stoyanov I.S., Boshno G.L., Bayrak V.N., Isaev V.P., Katanov D.G., Klimenko T.V., Lavrinenko A.F.) and Chairman of the Board - President of the Association Stoyanov I.S.

Board meetings of the Alumni Association

On June 2, 2016, the University held a meeting of the Board of the Alumni Association.

The report "On the priorities for activating the activities of the SSMI-StGMA-StSMU Alumni Association, determined in accordance with the decisions of the meeting with the heads of educational organizations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated December 2, 2015, held under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation V.I.Skvortsova" was made by the Chairman of the Board - President of the Association Stoyanov I.S.

           The meeting was attended by: Rector V.I. Koshel, Vice-rector V.O. Frantseva, members of the Board of the Alumni Association.

            On June 21, 2017, the University held an extended meeting of the Board of the Alumni Association.

The agenda of the meeting: "On proposals to intensify the activities of the SSMI-StSMA-StSMU Alumni Association in terms of providing assistance and strengthening control over the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills by students of the medical university, the formation of civic maturity and responsibility in working as a doctor for the treatment of citizens of the Russian Federation."

            Rector V.I. Koshel, Minister of Health of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.N. Mazharov, StSMU employees responsible for the relevant areas of work were invited to the meeting.

            The Chairman of the Management Board, Stoyanov I.S., made a report.

Every year, members of the Association's board took part in alumni meetings of previous years.
