Laboratory of Pharmacology

The Laboratory of Pharmacology is an experimental base for conducting research in the field of pharmacology and conducts preclinical trials of medicines and biologically active substances.

Conducts scientific research in order to create new dosage forms, study the pharmacological properties of medicines, as well as an experimental assessment of their safety.

The purpose of the laboratory is: research work using experimental methods in the field of pharmacology.

The objectives of the laboratory are:

  • Research in the field of pharmacology in experiments on laboratory animals.

  • Studying the prospects for the introduction of biologically active substances into clinical practice.

  • Screening studies of biologically active substances, assessment of acute and chronic toxicity.

  • Organization of educational and research work of students. 


LABORATORY FUNCTIONS

1. Provides assistance in conducting experimental research in the field of pharmacology, microbiology, immunology and allergology, while performing planned scientific work by university staff, graduate students, doctoral students and applicants.

2. Planning of prospects for the use of medicines and dosage forms in practice, including using nanotechnology.

3. Conducting preclinical studies of medicines.

4. Control of compliance with ethical standards, experiments on laboratory animals in accordance with the rules of laboratory practice of the Russian Federation.
