SEC of biomedical problems

The Scientific and Educational Center (SEC) "Biomedical Problems" was organized in 2010.
On December 10, 2012, an updated Cooperation Agreement and Regulations on the Scientific and Educational Center for Biomedical Problems were signed between Stavropol State Medical University, North Caucasus Federal University, Stavropol Research Institute and Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The purpose of its creation was to combine the efforts and resources of these organizations in the development of research, educational and technological activities in relevant areas in the field of medicine, biology and biochemistry.

Areas of activity of the SEC MBP:
• joint educational and scientific activities;
• training of young specialists, candidates and doctors of sciences;
• holding joint scientific conferences;
• conducting joint problem-based seminars for young scientists, specialists and students;
• internship of specialists at the bases of institutions included in the REC, conducting practical classes and lectures, preparing theses;
• implementation of joint research in the field of healthcare and veterinary medicine relevant to the South of Russia;
• joint participation in Federal targeted programs and competitions for grants supporting current scientific biomedical research;
• joint use of high-tech equipment and information resources of the institutions included in the REC.
