The Local Ethics Committee of Stavropol State Medical University is an independent body designed to promote respect for the rights and interests of participants in clinical trials, ethical standards, when conducting them in accordance with the rules for conducting high-quality clinical trials (Good Clinical Practice-GCP). 

 
The Local Ethics Committee operates on the basis of the Regulations on the Local Ethics Committee approved at the meeting of the Academic Council of the University on October 28, 2020, Protocol No. 3.

 
The local Ethics Committee of StSMU conducts an ethical examination:

 
-materials on clinical research conducted at StSMU, as well as other universities;

- dissertations of StSMU and other universities;

- innovative non-sponsored research.

documents are submitted no later than 5 calendar days before the next meeting;

an extract from the minutes of the committee meeting is issued 10 days after the next meeting
