Commissioners of the SMU"Lifeline"

The Student Medical Unit is a voluntary association of students who want to undergo practical training in various medical institutions of the country.

During the summer, student fighters of our squad work at the bases of central district hospitals, go to camps, sanatoriums in various regions of our country, where they gain extensive experience and learn new facets of medicine.

Every fighter of the Lifeline detachment passed the first aid school, received the right to work as a secondary medical staff!

Our team is part of the movement of Russian student teams, we take part in All-Russian medical and student forums, competitions, hold events inside our university and beyond!

Understanding the importance of our profession, love for medicine, support and team cohesion are what unites us!

Functions:      

• work in children's health camps of the Krasnodar Territory (VDC "Orlenok") and the Republic of Crimea;

• work in large interregional clinical and diagnostic centers, sanatoriums and dispensaries, medical and preventive healthcare institutions;
  

• patronage medical care for veterans and residents of rural settlements, orphanages, hospices;

• assistance to medical institutions in conducting medical examinations of residents of remote rural areas;

• sanitary and preventive education of the population;
  

• medical support;

• participation and organization of intra-university, district, regional and all-Russian events.    

Student medical teams allow, with the help of mentoring of experienced doctors, to form professional competencies based on the organic unity of fundamental knowledge, possession of practical skills and a clear understanding of future professional tasks, work experience in a professional society, active contact of young people with potential employers and their further employment in the primary health care system of the Russian Federation.
