the Psychological Support Center!

Various problems often arise in our lives: lack of interest in studying, fears, insecurity, communication difficulties, conflicts, the desire to better understand oneself and others, the choice of directions for further professional development and growth, etc. The specialists of the Center, throughout your studies at the university, are ready to provide the necessary individual diagnostic, advisory and correctional psychological assistance, in strict accordance with the ethical principles of voluntariness and confidentiality. In their work, they use innovative psychodiagnostic approaches and technologies, methods of projective testing, questionnaires, and sociological surveys; conduct curatorial hours, meetings, and training sessions aimed at resolving conflict situations, developing social skills and abilities for personal self-determination and self-development.

Functions:      

Psychological education: formation of the need for psychological knowledge among the subjects of the educational process, the desire to use it in the interests of their own development; strategies of behavior in difficult life and professional situations, prevention and resolution of conflict situations.

Psychological prevention: prevention of the occurrence of maladaptation phenomena, professional deformations and emotional burnout; development of skills for relieving tension, increased anxiety and other adverse conditions arising from causes of mental and physical overload, communication difficulties, etc.

Psychological diagnostics: monitoring of the somatic and psychological status of the student's personality; determination of individual characteristics, inclinations, orientation of the personality, its potential, value orientations; identification of the causes and mechanisms of disorders in learning, development, social adaptation; carrying out socio-psychological and medico-psychological measures aimed at assessing, predicting and correcting mental development, the functional state and adaptability of students in order to preserve and strengthen psychological health.

Psychological counseling and correction: individual counseling and correctional psychological assistance on the whole range of issues related to learning, development, personal self-determination, professional choice, relationships with teachers, parents, peers, etc.; formation and development of skills of introspection, self-control, self-regulation; correctional, training, rehabilitation therapy of identified mental, somatic, adaptive and other problems.
