StSMU organized the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Biotechnology: a look into the Future"

On March 27, the Department of Biotechnology of Stavropol State Medical University organized and held the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Biotechnology: a look into the future", dedicated to modern problems of science.
    The conference is held annually and includes such areas as biotechnology of medicines; medical biotechnologies; agricultural biotechnology, food biotechnology; environmental biotechnology; chemistry, biology and ecology; thermophysics and thermodynamics; diagnostic medicine; features of teaching in a medical university and bioethical problems of modern science; biosafety. A meeting of the Diagnostic Medicine section was held at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Laboratory Diagnostics, and Bacteriology with a course in advanced medical education under the guidance of a professor, MD. Cooper T.P. 
   This year, the plenary session of the conference was attended by employees of the ESCOM Scientific and Production Complex, the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Sheep and Goat Breeding, the Stavropol Anti-Plague Institute, the Microgen Scientific and Production Association, the sericulture station of the North Caucasian Federal National Research University, as well as students studying in the field of Biotechnology.".
Colleagues from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and Armenia took part in the conference in absentia.
