The traditional meeting of first-year students with the leaders of the Faculty of Foreign Students took place at StSMU

On December 20, a traditional meeting of first-year students took place with the leaders of the Faculty of Foreign Students: Suresha Prakruthi (India), Udoji Chidi Chukwuagozie (Nigeria), Otakpo Joseph Otakpo (Nigeria), Jatin (India), Pradeep Uma Devi Anjana (India).
    These students are not only excellent students, but also active participants in scientific and socio-cultural life, leaders of student government bodies, national communities, mentors of academic groups.
 The undergraduates shared with the freshmen the experience they gained at their alma mater in the field of study, research work in SSS (Student Scientific Society) circles and participation in conferences and Olympiads. They expressed their sense of pride for their university and called on young people to be more active in social and sports life, show their talents in festivals and creative competitions, pay more attention to learning Russian and communicating in the language of the country in which they live and study, and always seek advice from curators of academic groups, teachers, psychologists, dean's staff, community leaders, and senior colleagues.
    The first-year students were reminded that, while on the territory of the Russian Federation, they must strictly comply with the laws, rules of staying in Russia and living in dormitories and rented housing, the University Charter, and the Code of Ethics of the SSMU student.
     This meeting will help new students to overcome difficulties faster and adapt to the socio-cultural life of the university.
