At the International Forum-Festival "Studentourism-2024", StSMU delegates participated in the discussion of modern industry trends

From December 4-7, the International Forum-Festival "Studentourism-2024"  was held on the Federal Territory "Sirius", at which leaders in the field of youth and student tourism from Russia and the EAEU and CIS countries discussed new ideas and approaches to the development of the industry in 2025.
     Stavropol State Medical University was represented at the forum by Alexey Khoroshilov, a 4th-year student of the Pediatric Faculty, and Eva Kotova, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Humanities and Biomedical Education.
   The Forum included two main programs: business and cultural and educational. The StSMU delegates attended the plenary discussion "Expanding Student tourism in Russia" with the participation of invited experts,  participated in strategic sessions, practicums on the development of student and popular science tourism, alternative sites from forum partners, and went on excursions.
    The development of domestic tourism, including youth tourism, is a national priority of our country. Students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists under 35 years of age can participate in the program. Young people have the opportunity to visit more than 110 Russian cities, take part in popular science, career guidance, cultural and educational events, staying on campuses, dormitories, hotels and recreation centers of educational organizations.
    The doors of Stavropol State Medical University are also open to all comers: from 2025, our university will enter the Student Tourism program.
