Zelensky Vladimir Aleksandrovich - Honored Doctor of Russia, Honored Dentist, Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vice-President of the Dental Association of Russia and the Stavropol Territory, chief pediatric dentist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category. Graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of SSMI in 1986. Since 2011. Head of the Department of General Practice Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry. Author of more than 270 publications, including 88 articles in the central press, 27 in the s/p, 5 patents, 4 innovation proposals, 25 teaching manuals, 3 monographs, 3 federal textbooks on pediatric maxillofacial surgery and surgical dentistry with the stamp of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, one published abroad, 2 reference books in dentistry. Defended 5 dissertations, 16 teaching aids with the stamp of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and one textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Health for students of dental universities and postgraduate medical cadets. He defended his PhD thesis "Surgical rehabilitation of patients with congenital unilateral cleft of the upper lip after primary cheiloplasty" in 1994. In 2005 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Rehabilitation treatment and medical and psychological rehabilitation of children with congenital facial cleft". Under his leadership, 5 scientific studies were carried out for the degrees of medical sciences.

Participates in the work of the profile commission on dentistry of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the problem commission on dentistry of StSMU, scientific conferences, forums, congresses of dental associations of the UK and Russia.

He is a member of the Scientific Coordinating Council of StSMU, since 2008 an "Honorary Academician" of the International Academy of Quality and Marketing.

In 2006, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, in 2008 the badge "Excellent Health Worker of the Russian Federation".
