Lyudmila Dmitrievna Tsaturyan graduated from the Stavropol State Medical Institute in 1992 with a degree in Pediatrics.

She started her career in 1993, working in practical healthcare, since 2011 – at the Stavropol State Medical University at the Department of Normal Physiology, and since 2012 - head of the department.

The topic of the candidate's dissertation: "Vegetative regulation of the cardiovascular system of the body of children, taking into account their constitutional features" (Stavropol, 2004; specialty 03.00.13 - physiology, 14.00.09 - pediatrics).

The topic of the doctoral dissertation: "Comparative ecological and physiological characteristics of adaptive reactions of the organism of the examined different ethnic groups" (Moscow, 2009; specialty 03.00.13 - physiology, 2009).
