Functions:

• Preparation and submission to the Rector of the University of proposals and drafts of local regulations to ensure anti-terrorist protection and fire safety of university facilities.

• Participation in the development of technical specifications for the procurement of goods (works, services) on the organization of physical security, security and fire alarm systems at the university facilities.

• Monitoring of compliance with the on-site and access control, including when holding events at the university with a mass stay of people.

• Participation within the legal framework in the collection and processing of information about possible illegal actions against employees and students of the university.

• Identification of possible directions and nature of illegal actions, identification of their organizers and active participants, as well as sources of negative information negatively affecting the business reputation of the university.

• Execution of control and supervisory functions in relation to employees and students of the University within the competence and tasks of the Service.

• Carrying out inspections of the fire-fighting condition of university facilities.

• Participation in the formation of proposals for the financial plan in terms of providing university facilities with the necessary security systems and fire-fighting equipment.

• Control over the execution of concluded civil law contracts for the protection and equipping of university facilities with engineering and technical security means.

• Interaction with the structural units of the University on security issues at the university facilities.

• Interaction with law enforcement agencies on issues of ensuring the anti-terrorist security of university facilities, as well as public order during events with a mass stay of people.

• Interaction with the departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on fire safety issues.
