On "Interesting Wednesday", a film show with a discussion of the film took place at StSMU

On another "Interesting Wednesday" at Stavropol State Medical University, students were able to feel like film critics and family psychologists. And the reason for the opportunity to try on new roles was the film show of the 2016 comedy-drama film Captain Fantastic starring Viggo Mortesen.
      Do parents often harm their children for the best of reasons? How effective and useful is alternative parenting? Who has the greatest influence on teenagers – teachers, relatives, peers? Are social experiments involving children appropriate? Are children, after social restrictions, but comprehensively educated, ready to meet the real world, and the real world to meet them? Is the progress of consciousness really inseparable from scientific, technical and social development? The students were looking for answers to these and other questions together with the presenter of the psychological film screening A.O. Vasilenko, associate professor of the Department of Clinical Psychology and invited expert V.B. Kornev, director of the private cultural institution of the museum "Family Archive", Chairman of the Orthodox Historical and Genealogical Society of Stavropol.
